Between Monday 12th of February and Friday 16th of February, we will be undertaking several upgrades on our SurfProtect system. These will include changes in hardware and software to ensure long-term stability and support planned features.
To support future features and improve service address management, we shall be applying configuration changes to the SurfProtect Proxy servers.
During the maintenance window, each server will require rebooting to ensure a clean slate for the new configuration, this will take around 10 -15 minutes to complete per server. We will only be rebooting one server at a time.
To minimise inconvenience to customers, these deployments will take place outside of office hours, between 17:00 and 20:00 each day. Please note that if you utilise SurfProtect, then you will lose connectivity for a single 10-minute period during these windows.
If you are unable to get online for a period longer than 15 minutes, then please call our Helpdesk on 0345 145 1234. Our Helpdesk closes at 6 pm, and calls after that will be forwarded to our out-of-hours answering service, which will alert a member of the team and they will get back to you.
