17:05 Following a period of monitoring, this issue is now fully resolved.

** Latest Update** 15:30 Circuit has been repaired and following tests we have re-introduced into the core network. Traffic is passing normally but we are continuing to monitor.

We are seeing performance issues with connectivity on one of our core links. We are investigating the cause of the problem and will provide an update within an hour.

13:00 One of our suppliers has confirmed they have a major outage in Manchester, a senior network engineer is looking into the problem with another on the way.

13:28 The fault is believed to be hardware failure, spare parts are on their way and expected to arrive to site around 14:30.

15:07 Our transmission provider has replaced faulty hardware and is in the process of restoring all affected services. We are awaiting confirmation that our circuit has been repaired before allowing traffic to flow back onto this core link.

15:30 Circuit has been repaired and following tests we have re-introduced into the core network. Traffic is passing normally but we are continuing to monitor.
