Fibre Break Leeds/Bradford Thursday 27th May 2021 08:50:00

Engineers are currently replacing a broken fibre which is affecting a small number of customers in the Leeds & Bradford area. We are not anticipating a prolonged repair and will update as soon as possible.

Some customers are still experiencing issues with their connection, engineers are being dispatched to investigate. Apologies for any inconvenience caused.

It is now confirmed that no further damage has occurred and the fibre is currently being pulled through. Unless delays are encountered, it is estimated that services should be restored during the morning of Friday 28th May.

The Engineering team on site have confirmed 85% of the repair work is complete. Further assessment is underway to ensure all damage has been identified. Updates will continue as we get them

Engineers at site are working to clear an identified blockage. Once cleared, new fibre is onsite and ready to be installed, replacing the broken length. Updates will continue to follow as we get them.
