One of our suppliers is experiencing issues which has affected one of our core links. Customers may have noticed a slight blip in connectivity whilst traffic has been automatically rerouted over diverse paths.

We are in communication with the provider and are monitoring the situation, however, customers should not experience any deterioration in service at this time

Our supplier has confirmed the fault was caused by a ‘microbend’ in a joint which has now been repaired and we have received confirmation that the incident is both resolved and closed.

Our affected link has been restored and has been stable for over 11 hours without any disruption. Whilst customers should not have experienced any disruption during the incident, we are pleased to announce our network is back to full strength
