At approximately 10:22am one of our core fibre links from London Telehouse to Manchester experienced total failure. The issue has been confirmed by the provider as a MSO and suspected fibre break. Traffic has automatically rerouted across other core paths but customers may have experienced a short blip during routing reconvergence. We are monitoring the situation and requesting regular updates from the provider. Customers should not see any performance impact to services but may see higher than usual latency on traceroutes that show hops between London and Manchester.
